Aromatherapy is a science and an art that uses natural fragrant essential oils, herbs and plant extracts as an aid to good health and subsequent beauty.  Throughout the centuries, these aromatic products, used in baths, saunas and massages have contributed to peoples’ sense of well-being.

At a certain point in time, taking such aromatic baths at least twice a day was considered to be a sign of good manners. Essential oils are volatile substances that are highly concentrated extracts that contain vitamins, hormones, antibiotics and antiseptics.  Accordingly, aromatherapy uses the sense of smell which is directly connected to the part of the brain that controls moods, passions and memories.  Scientific research has shown that odors can instantly affect the way we think and act.  Our sense of smell reacts to the natural fragrances of the essential oil.  Applied to a hot bath, the oils are absorbed through the skin and permeate the air with a pleasant aroma.

The entire aromatherapy experience aids in relaxation, stimulation, helping sore muscles, poor circulation and even relieving the effects of jet lag. You will indulge in a body temperature scented bath for approximately 20 minutes, followed by a cooling rest.
